PM Launches ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ Campaign
- On June 5, Prime Minister Narendra Modi initiated the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign to mark World Environment Day. He planted a Peepal tree sapling at Buddha Jayanti Park in Delhi.

- In a notable development, 18 lakh voters in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore chose the ‘none of the above’ (NOTA) option in the Lok Sabha elections.
